Another big fight at the Echo Arena, this time with Rocky Fielding in front of his home crowd taking on Brian Vera for the WBC International Super Middleweight title. Vera with a record of 23 wins 9 losses, has been in with some decent fighters and although losing his last three, they were UD’s that went the distance against Willie Monroe and Julio Cesar Chavez. The Liverpudlian though, is the bigger, stronger and I would say more hungrier fighter, who has the chance to make his mark with the wider audience here. Rocky didn’t pull up any trees last time in a comfortable 8 rounds UD over Olegs Fedotovs, before then however Fielding took out Alcoba in a 5th Round TKO. Rocky is 20 wins no losses, 11 of those by KO.
